  • Where can I get the Friday mobile app?

    The Friday mobile app is available for iOS and Android devices on the App Store or Google Play.

  • What’s the difference between DailyPay and Friday by DailyPay?
    • DailyPay is the leading on-demand pay provider that allows you to access your earned pay any time before payday. You accumulate a DailyPay Balance of the money you have earned but have not yet been paid and can access that money early for a small ATM-like fee each time.
    • Friday by DailyPay is the new Visa® prepaid card that eliminates the standard DailyPay transfer fee, providing you no-fee1, on-demand pay that deposits instantly.

  • Who can use Friday?

    Friday is currently live only to those who are enrolled in DailyPay. Eligibility for DailyPay is determined by whether or not your company offers DailyPay’s on-demand pay solution as a benefit to its employees. If you’re not sure if your company offers DailyPay, check with your company’s HR or Payroll department.

    You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States in order to open a Friday Card.

  • Is Friday a bank?

    No, Friday is not a bank. The Friday by DailyPay Visa® Prepaid Card is issued by The Bancorp Bank, N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A., Inc. and can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.

  • How do I sign up for the Friday Card?

    Signing up for Friday is easy. Once you’ve downloaded the Friday mobile app from the App Store or Google Play , open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register for your Friday Card. You’ll need to enter and confirm your identity by providing information like your name, address, date of birth, and social security number – but don’t worry, there is no credit check needed to open a Friday Card, as this is not a credit card. Identification verification is required.3 

    Please note: At this time, you must be an employee at a company that offers DailyPay and you must enroll in DailyPay to be eligible for a Friday Card. If you’re not sure if your company offers DailyPay, check with your company’s HR or Payroll department.

  • What should I do if I’m eligible but unable to register for Friday?

    Friday is currently only available to DailyPay users at this time. If you are eligible for or already enrolled in DailyPay, make sure to register using the credentials you have on file with DailyPay or your employer.

    If you’re unable to sign up for DailyPay or cannot find your existing DailyPay account in the Friday mobile app, double check that you’re using the phone number or email address you have on file with DailyPay or your employer. If that still doesn’t work, call customer support toll-free at (833) 998-2449 for assistance.

    If you’re able to connect your DailyPay account in the Friday mobile app but are having trouble getting your Friday Card, call customer support.

  • Will opening a Friday Card impact my credit score?

    No, there’s no credit check required to get the Friday Card. Friday is a Visa® prepaid card and will not impact your credit score. This is not a credit card and you must pass ID verification to receive a Friday Card.

  • When will my Friday Card arrive?

    After successfully opening your new Friday Card, a physical copy of your card should arrive by USPS mail within 10 to 14 business days after it ships.

    While you wait for your card to arrive, you can use your virtual card to add funds and make purchases on eCommerce websites or

    through your mobile wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay) by using your card information available in the Friday mobile app.

  • How do I activate my Friday Card?

    Your virtual card will be activated from the moment you successfully register for your Friday Card. This means that you can immediately add funds to your Friday Card through the Friday mobile app and use your card information to make eCommerce and mobile wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay) transactions.

    Your physical card needs to be activated separately. Once you receive your physical Friday Card in the mail, use your mobile device’s default camera to scan the QR code printed on your card mailer. You will then be asked to set your 4-digit PIN, after which your Friday Card will be activated.

    If you’re having trouble activating your card with your QR code, you can use the unique 6-digit code printed below the QR code instead to activate your card in the mobile app. If that still doesn’t work, call customer support toll-free at (833) 998-2449 for assistance.

  • What is my DailyPay Balance?

    Any time you work, a portion of the money you earn for that day or shift will be added to your DailyPay Balance. The amount you see in your DailyPay Balance is your net earnings and excludes any estimated taxes, deductions and other withholdings such as garnishments. Your DailyPay Balance reflects the amount of funds available to you to be moved to your Friday Card or any other account.

    Your DailyPay Balance can be found by tapping on “DailyPay Balance” from the home screen of the Friday mobile app. There, you’ll find details about your DailyPay Balance, including any transfers you’ve made and how much you’re currently earning during the pay period.

  • How do I get no-fee, on-demand pay with Friday?

    To have the fees waived on DailyPay transfers to your Friday Card, all you need to do is set your paycheck to deposit to your card in the Friday mobile app. Once you’ve opened your Friday Card, just navigate to the home screen of your Friday mobile app and follow the on-screen instructions to “unlock no-fee, instant pay.”

    Once you do so, each transfer you make from your DailyPay Balance to your Friday Card will be completely fee-free and deposited instantly. Note that your paychecks (or your “remainder pay”) will begin to deposit to your Friday Card starting from your next payday.

    Your DailyPay transfer fee will be waived only for transfers to your Friday Card. For any transfers you make from your DailyPay Balance to an account that is not your Friday Card, you’ll still need to pay the standard DailyPay fees of up to $3.49 per transfer, regardless of how you set your paycheck deposit.

  • How can I view my transaction history?

    To view your recent transactions, navigate to the home screen of the Friday mobile app and tap on the Friday Card. You will see a list of your recent transactions, from which you can access individual transaction details or view your extended transaction history.

    At the beginning of each month, we will post a digital statement in the Friday mobile app detailing all of your transaction activity for the prior month, and such statements will be stored in the app for your reference.

  • How can I add money to my Friday Card?

    You can add money to your Friday Card from your DailyPay Balance by making a transfer in the Friday mobile app.

    1. Open the Friday mobile app and tap the transfer icon in the bottom navigation bar.
    2. Set the desired dollar amount of your transfer.
    3. Using the dropdowns, set the originating account as your DailyPay Balance, and set the destination account as your Friday Card.
    4. Tap Next to review and complete your transfer.

    Note that each transfer from your DailyPay Balance to your Friday Card can cost up to $3.49, but this fee is waived when you set your paycheck to deposit to your card in the Friday mobile app.

    You can also transfer money from an external account to your Friday Card by following the steps below.

    1. In your external bank’s app or website, locate the “transfers” section.
    2. You’ll need to add your Friday Card as an external account. Enter the routing and account number tied to your Friday Card, and select Checking as the account type. Please note: it may take a few days for your external account to verify your Friday account as an available transfer destination.
    3. Select your Friday Card account as the recipient and make your transfer.

    Your unique account and routing number can be found in the Friday mobile app.

  • How much of my earned pay can I access?

    You can use your Friday Card to access your earned pay (your DailyPay Balance), minus any applicable taxes, deductions or withholdings. If you have any questions about your taxes, deductions or withholdings, please contact your company’s payroll department.

    Keep in mind, the paycheck you’ll receive on your usual payday will be lower by the total amount of your early transfers for that pay period.

  • Can I use both the DailyPay and the Friday mobile apps?

    Yes, you may continue to use the DailyPay mobile app to access on-demand pay. Using Friday will not impact the availability of the DailyPay mobile app or any of its features. You may use either the DailyPay mobile app or the Friday mobile app to access your no-fee, instant DailyPay transfers to your Friday Card (once you have opened your Friday Card through the Friday mobile app).

    We recommend you use the Friday mobile app to take advantage of its full set of features, including no-fee, instant transfers (activated once your card is set up with paycheck deposit). The Friday mobile app also provides you access to your card’s banking features – view and manage your card transactions, access card security features, and make transfers to and from any linked accounts (including your DailyPay Balance).

  • What should I do if my DailyPay Balance isn’t updating?

    While we try our best to provide you access to your earned pay as soon as possible, the availability of those funds depends on when your company reports your earnings to DailyPay. If your DailyPay Balance isn’t updating, it may be because of the type of work you’re doing, how it’s being reported, or how your company enters payroll information.

    If your DailyPay Balance still hasn't been updated after a day, call customer support toll-free at (833) 998-2449 for assistance.

  • How can I transfer money out of my Friday Card?

    You can send money from your Friday Card to another destination in two ways:

    1. Make a 2 to 3 business day transfer to a bank account, for no fees.
    2. Make an instant transfer to a debit card, for a $3.49 fee per transfer.

    To send money from your Friday Card to another destination, go to the homepage of your Friday mobile app and tap the “Send” button. From there, follow the on-screen prompts to select your transfer amount, desired speed, and destination to confirm your transfer.

    Remember, the money on your Friday Card is already yours to use. You can always make payments with your Friday Card directly using the card information viewable in the Friday mobile app, your physical Friday Card, or from your mobile wallet to avoid the transfer fees and wait time

  • If my employer includes tips in my DailyPay Balance, can I access them with Friday?

    Both tips and base pay are included in your DailyPay Balance shown in the Friday mobile app. If your employer reports tips to DailyPay, you can add them from your DailyPay Balance to your Friday Card for no fees, provided you’ve set your direct deposit to your Friday Card. Otherwise, the standard DailyPay fees will apply.

  • What type of card is the Friday Card?

    The Friday Card is a Visa® prepaid card. You may use your Friday Card for online and in-store purchases anywhere Visa® debit cards are accepted. You can also use your account to receive deposits, initiate pre-authorized transactions, and transfer your money to other bank accounts.

    Your deposits to the Friday Card are insured to at least $250,000 through The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC.

  • Are there any fees to use Friday?

    As a product dedicated to providing you maximum control of your finances, the Friday Card omits the hidden fees2 that are typically tied to traditional banking. With the Friday Card, enjoy:

    • No minimum balance requirement
    • No monthly fee
    • No in-network ATM fees through Allpoint ATMs
    • No domestic purchase fees
    • No customer service fees
    • No overdraft fees (the card is a prepaid card and does not offer overdraft protection, or access to unearned wages / credit features / loans)

    You can also access no-fee on-demand pay to your Friday Card when you set your paycheck to deposit to your card in the Friday mobile app.

  • How can I view my transaction history?

  • Does the Friday Card allow overdrafts?

    The Friday Card will not charge overdraft fees or allow overdrafts, as it is a prepaid card that does not offer overdraft protection, or access to unearned wages / credit features / loans.

  • How do I set my Friday Card PIN?

    After you receive the physical copy of your Friday Card in the mail, follow the instructions on your card mailer to set your 4-digit PIN and activate your card in the Friday mobile app. Choose a unique and memorable PIN, as you’ll need it to access ATMs and make certain purchases.

    To change your PIN, navigate to your Card Settings in the Friday mobile app and tap Change PIN.

  • How do I make a transaction?

    You can use your Friday Card to make purchases anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.

    • To make an online / eCommerce purchase, you can use the card number, CVV and expiration date printed on the back of your card. This information is also available in your Friday mobile app.
    • To make a purchase in-store, insert or swipe your card in the card reader and enter your PIN if prompted.
    • You may also use your mobile wallet to make contactless payments in-store by adding your Friday Card to your Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay account.
  • Where can I find a fee-free ATM?

    With the Friday Card, you have access to 55,000+ in-network Allpoint ATMs around the world that you can use for fee-free2 ATM withdrawals and balance inquiries. To find the nearest free ATM, click here.

  • How can I contact customer support?

    You can contact customer support by calling (833) 998-2449, which is toll-free from within the U.S.

    If you are currently abroad, you can instead contact customer support at (801) 559-3868. Fees may apply for international calls.

  • How can I update my personal information?

    To update your information, tap the Profile icon in the lower right hand corner of the Friday mobile app. Select “Profile info” to update your email, mobile phone number or home address.

  • How do I close my account?

    To close your Friday Card account, call customer support toll-free at (833) 998-2449.

  • If I leave my company, can I keep using my Friday Card?

    Yes, you can keep using your Friday Card after you leave your company.

    When you are no longer employed by a DailyPay partner, you will lose access to DailyPay features like on-demand pay. However, you’ll still be able to use your Friday Card to access all your standard banking features, like adding and transferring your money, accessing ATMs, and making purchases.

  • What should I do if I don’t recognize a transaction?

    If you see a transaction you don’t recognize, you should block access to your card immediately to prevent any unauthorized activity:

    1. Navigate to your Card Settings in the Friday mobile app.
    2. Tap on the Lock Card switch to lock your card. This will prevent any new purchases and ATM transactions from your Friday Card.

    Call customer support toll-free at (833) 998-2449 to report the suspicious transaction and initiate a dispute. You may also request to be issued a replacement card2.

  • What should I do if my Friday Card is lost or stolen?

    If your Friday Card is lost or stolen, you should block access to your card immediately to prevent any unauthorized activity:

    1. Navigate to your Card Settings in the Friday mobile app.
    2. Tap on the Lock Card switch to lock your card. This will prevent any new purchases and ATM transactions from your Friday Card.

    Call customer support toll-free at (833) 998-2449 to report your card as lost or stolen, and request a replacement card2.

  • Is my Friday Card FDIC insured?

    Yes, the deposits to the Friday Card are FDIC insured to at least $250,000 through The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC.
